The Calera Eagles volleyball squad swept both McAdory and Isabella in a tri-match competition Sept. 23.

The Eagles opened with McAdory, and swept the Yellow Jackets in two sets, 25-15 and 25-18, respectively. Akia Harris had nine kills and three blocks, while Grace Rodriguez had seven kills and two aces for Calera.

In the second match against Isabella, the Eagles once again took the win in a sweep, winning 25-19 and 25-13. Harris had six kills and one block, Keyanna Gayden had five kills, a block and three aces.

Calera will face West Blocton on Sept. 24.
