The Calera Eagles volleyball team took down county foe Shelby County Oct. 1 in a 3-0 sweep.

In the first set, Calera took a 25-15 win over the Wildcats. The Eagles captured the final two sets by a score of 25-10 and 25-9, respectively.

Faith Graham posted 30 assists, two kills and two aces, Keyanna Gayden had five kills, four aces and two blocks, while Akia Karris had 13 kills and three blocks for Calera.

The Eagles move to 19-2 overall and 4-0 in area play.
