Ollie Lowery, age 101, of Calera, passed away on Oct. 22, 2013. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. on Oct. 24 at Shelby Memory Gardens with Rev. Raymond Beam officiating.

Mrs. Lowery is preceded in death by her parents, Clint and Lela Vanderslice Cost; husband, Russell Lowery; son, Donald Lowery; and grandson, Glenn Cadle.

She is survived by her daughter, Nell Cadle; grandsons, Don Lowery and Jeff Stewart; great-grandchildren, Cynthia Cadle, Alex Lowery and Taylor Lowery; sisters, Amy Hope Willis and Ella Ree Hatfield; and a host of other family and friends.
