Marcus Anthony Bryant, age 40, of Calera, passed away Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013, at Brookwood Medical Center after a battle with the flu, pneumonia and other complications.

Mr. Bryant was a realtor with Keller Williams Metro South in Alabaster. He was a Christian man, amazing husband, father, son and brother. Marcus loved traveling, computers and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of two years, Kimberly Niven Bryant; daughters, Victoria Nicole Bryant, Alexandria Brooke Bryant and Isabella Lynn Bryant; two step-daughters, Gabrielle Ashton Brandenberg and Katelyn Elizabeth Brandenberg; sister, Amanda Bryant Hyslop, brother-in-law, Christopher Rice Hyslop; nephew, Brett Christopher Hyslop; his wonderful loving parents, James Larry Bryant and Carol Acton Bryant; as well as family and friends.

Visitation was held on Dec. 23 from 6-8 p.m. at Rockco’s Funeral Home. The funeral was held on Dec. 24 at 10:30 a.m. at Rockco’s with burial following at Oakwood Cemetery in Gardendale at 12:30 p.m. Rev. Rick Swing of Westwood Baptist Church officiated the service.
