Mary Nell Wheeler, age 70, passed away Jan. 5, 2014, at Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham. Funeral services will be held graveside Jan. 9 at 1 p.m. in Vincent, with Rev. Wayne Lowe officiating.

Mary Nell Wheeler was survived by her husband, Jack Wheeler of Vincent; grandchildren, Joseph Perkins of USN and Victoria Clio Wheeler of Mobile; brother, Ronald N. Slimp (Gwen) of Fla.; several aunts, two nephews and their family.

Mrs. Wheeler was retired from the United Postal Service.
