Johnny Wayne Scoggins, age 65, of Vincent, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Jan. 10, at Bolton Funeral Home with Rev. Perry Wells officiating. Burial will follow in Harpersville City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Jan. 9, at the funeral home.

Mr. Scoggins is preceded in death by son, David Dorough; sister, Peggy Richardson; and nephew, Matthew Reinhardt. He is survived by his wife, Pat Scoggins; son, Dewayne Scoggins; daughter, Koki Laddie (Keith); grandsons, Hunter Scoggins (a special grandson that Wayne and Pat raised), Hayden Laddie and Jakob Laddie; brothers, Dale Ingram (Jackie), Edward Scoggins and Michael Scoggins; and other family and friends.

The Scoggins family would like to thank Blanton Moore, Nancy Wallis, Barry Reynolds and Dale Ingram for all their love and care.
