Luther Eugene Hatcher, age 72, of Wilsonville, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Jan. 12 at Bolton Funeral Home with burial to follow in Columbiana City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:30-2 p.m. on Jan. 12 at the funeral home.

Mr. Hatcher graduated from Vincent High School.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.  He was owner of Hatcher Hardware for many years. Mr. Hatcher is preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Wilma Hatcher; brothers, James A. Hatcher and Floyd E. Hatcher; nephew, Dylan Wortham; and a niece, Hannah Elizabeth Lynn. He is survived by his sisters, Barbara Wortham (Ronnie), Joyce Kerr (Butch) and Naomi McKinney (Johnny); and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
