Salvation Army opens emergency warming station

The Salvation Army in Alabaster has opened an emergency warming station at its building off Plaza Circle for those in need during severe winter weather Feb. 11-12.
The Salvation Army’s building is at 108 Plaza Circle, near the Alabaster YMCA facility.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, the Salvation Army will provide free coffee and hot chocolate to anyone in need during the frigid weather until 9 p.m. each night. A free hot lunch will be provided at 11:30 a.m. and a dinner will be provided at 5:30 p.m. each night.
