Meet Ernest and Joker.

Ernest is a 1-year-old, 47-pound shepherd mix. He arrived to Shelby Humane Society back in October and is still waiting for his forever home. This handsome pup is both playful and sweet, loves people, enjoys dogs his own size and is beyond ready to find his forever family. He has gorgeous eyes, a sleek coat and a great personality. Come visit this boy and find out why we are earnestly in love with Ernest.

Joker is a jovial 1-year-old tuxedo cat eager to have a family of his own to amuse. He came to SHS as a stray, and quickly made friends with the staff and volunteers here at the shelter. He has a bit of the laid-back cat charm with a funny, playful side to keep you on your toes. Adopt this ham and save money on your cable bill—you will be so amused you won’t need a TV anymore.
