HOOVER — Effective March 3, the Hoover Public Library will offer free movies, television shows and music for online and mobile devices via a new partnership with audio and video company Hoopla Digital.
Hoover residents with a valid library card can download the free Hoopla Digital app on their Android or iPhone device or visit hoopladigital.com to enjoy thousands of titles on their smartphones, tablets and computers. The titles are available to borrow for instant steaming or temporary downloading.
“There’s also no waiting to borrow popular movies, TV shows and albums,” the library said in a news release. “And Hoopla Digital’s automatic return feature eliminates late fees.”
