CHELSEA — Two people were injured April 16 after a two-vehicle crash shortly before 6 p.m. at the intersection of Shelby County 47 and Shelby County 49.

Two people in one of the cars were transported by ambulance to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, said Capt. Adam Reeves of Chelsea Fire and Rescue. The names of the injured were not disclosed.

Reeves said the intersection was blocked for 20 to 30 minutes as responders worked the crash.
