Christine Ruby Palmer, age 89, of Alabaster, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2014. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on April 21 at Bolton Funeral Home with Bro. Dwight Joiner and Bro. Terry Palmer officiating. Burial is to follow at Still Memorial in Elliotsville. Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. on April 20 at Bolton Funeral Home, Columbiana.

Mrs. Palmer is preceded in death by her son, John Palmer; and daughter, Nancy Lewis. She is survived by her husband J.C. Palmer; son, Larry A. Palmer (Kathy); daughter, Janet Harless (Ronnie); sister, Nell Alexander; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
