Franky R. Davis, of Vincent, age 59, died April 18, 2014, at UAB Hospital.

He will lie-in-state from 10-11 a.m. at Macedonia North Baptist Church on April 22. Funeral service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Donald Morris and Rev. Jim Morris officiating. Visitation will be held at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel on April 21 from 6-8 p.m. with burial in Macedonia North Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Jo Davis of Vincent; two daughters, Cassie Davis Fields (Bama) and Cortney Davis, both of Vincent; two grandchildren, Addison and Kadence Fields; father, Grady David of Vincent; two brothers, Rodney Davis of Calera and Eric Davis (Tina) of Athens; sister, Eleshia Robinson (Derek) of Chelsea; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Faye Davis.
