SHELBY—Shelby Iron Park will host their fourth annual car show on Saturday, April 26.

“We’re hoping to have at least 50 or more cars,” Carla Brasher, who is helping organize the event, said.

Registration is $20 per entry, and is open to anyone who would like to participate. A t-shirt is included in the price of registration, and almost all who register will leave with a door prize, Brasher said.

“(The drawing) is about every 15 minutes or more, and we try to make sure that every person who registers goes home with a door prize,” Brasher said.

Hotdogs, hamburgers, chips and other food will be available for purchase at the show, and The Last Chance Band will provide music throughout the day. Vendors can also set up by the Blacksmith Building, free of charge.

“It’s mainly engine and car stuff, any little thing really,” Brasher said.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. In the case of rain, the show will be held Saturday, May 3.
