Hoover City Schools dismissing 2 hours early due to weather threat

HOOVER — Hoover City Schools will dismiss two hours early Monday, April 28 due to approaching severe weather, spokesman Jason Gaston said in an email.
All school buses will run its normal routes two hours early. In addition, all after-school activities, including the Extended Day Program, are cancelled.
Elementary students are participating in ACT Aspire testing this morning. Parents are urged not to check out students before dismissal unless necessary.
