This week we want to highlight a dog our Adoption Ambassador Program: Lydia. Our Ambassadors foster pets like her and help find them homes outside of the shelter walls.

Lydia is an adorable, adoptable, huggable and happy 2-year-old, pit-bull terrier mix. This outgoing girl is good with dogs of all sizes though she sometimes forgets her own size. She is an energetic pup, and has turned out to be great on a leash and makes an excellent running partner. Lydia loves any toy that can be thrown or chased after, but she has not yet figured out that the game lasts longer if she would bring it back. Lydia has shown to be housebroken in her foster home and sleeps well through the night—though it is reported she would prefer to snuggle in your bed rather than sleep on her own bed.
