Shelby County Commission appoints new members to Shelby County Community Health Foundation, 911 Board

COLUMBIANA — The Shelby County Commission unanimously voted April 28 to appoint Rux Bentley, Phil Burns and Hub Harvey to the Shelby County Community Health Foundation, and Loren Russell to the 911 Board.
Bentley, president of Rux Carter Insurance in Columbiana, and Burns, Shelby County chief operating officer, will assume their foundation responsibilities May 1 and Oct. 1, respectively, succeeding Reggie Holloway.
Harvey, director of the Shelby County Emergency Management Agency, will assume his foundation responsibilities Jan. 1, 2015, succeeding Shelby County Chief Development Officer Chad Scroggins. Both Holloway and Scroggins have completed their terms of appointment.
Russell, IT project coordinator at Shelby County Department of Public Safety, will assume his 911 Board seat effective Oct. 1, succeeding new foundation appointee Burns.
