Margaret Fay Hill Russell, of Alabaster, born Feb. 10, 1943, in Yazoo City, Miss., died June 16, 2014.

She was an amazing woman, full of love, grace and mercy, a devoted wife, a rock as a mother, and a wonderful grandmother. She was married to Jerry Franklin Russell Sr. for 53 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank Britton Hill Sr. and Essie Skeen Hill; sisters, Florence Ives and Sue Reid; and brothers Frank Hill Jr. and Jai Hill.

She is survived by her brother, Johnny Hill of Arlington, Texas; and sisters, Rosaline Goolsby of Gautier, Miss., Corrie Smith of Madison, Miss., Marilynn Moore of Denver, Co. and Brenda Stamper of Meridian, Miss. She is also survived by her loving husband, Jerry F. Russell Sr. of Alabaster; and four beautiful children, Jerry F. Russell Jr. (Linda) of Duette, Fla., Michael Russell (Michelle) of Birmingham, Steven Russell of Birmingham and Angela Russell Durant of Alabaster; and nine beloved grandchildren, Parker Dykes, Jacob Durant, Austin Russell, Madison Russell, Sawyer Russell, Ashley Russell, Adam Russell, Keaton Russell and Evan Russell.

Funeral services were held at Lakewood Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 6011 Clinton Blvd, Jackson, MS 39209. Visitation was June 19 from 5-7 p.m. Funeral services were June 20 starting at 11 a.m. Interment followed at Lakewood Memorial Park.
