FROM STAFF REPORTS

Choose to adopt and save a life! This week we want to highlight Ginger and Nacho.

Ginger (contributed)

Ginger (contributed)

Ginger is a great medium-sized lab/chow mix with soft red fur and a gentle demeanor. She is 3-years-old and weighs about 35 pounds. She is relaxed on a leash for a nice stroll and comfortable by your side for your favorite primetime show. Ginger has never met a stranger, but she quietly says hello and softly wags her tail. Really all this girl is missing is you.

Nacho (contributed)

Nacho (contributed)

Nacho is a 3-month-old golden colored tabby kitten. She is outgoing, playful and adorable. Nacho is unique in her coloring and will grow to be such a stunningly beautiful adult. She would love to have a family to amuse with her silly kitten antics and to cuddle with for her kitten naps, and most of all, to love her all the days of her life.

For more information about these two, email mwayman@shelbyhumane.org or call 205-669-3916. To see the large variety of adoptable cats and dogs at Shelby Humane Society, visit our adoption floor Tuesday through Saturday from 12-5:30 p.m. Stay tuned to us on Facebook and at Shelbyhumane.org during the ASPCA Rachel Ray $100k Challenge. There are fun new things happening all the time to get the community involved—together we will save more lives than ever before.
