Chelsea woman killed in weekend wreck

WESTOVER – An elderly Chelsea woman was killed when a vehicle she was riding in was involved in an Aug. 16 crash on U.S. 280 in Westover.
Margaret Pate, 85, of Chelsea, was killed when a vehicle in which she was a passenger collided with another vehicle at about 4:30 p.m., according to the Alabama Department of Public Safety.
The DPS reported no other fatalities in the incident, and Alabama State Troopers are continuing to investigate the crash.
