The Kingwood Christian Lions notched their first win of the season in a hard-fought match against the Jackson Academy Eagles.

Kingwood dominated the game on both sides of the ball, taking a 28-7 victory.

The Lions now continue their three-game non-region schedule, taking on Evangel of Montgomery on Sept. 25.
