 COLUMBIANA – Police responded to a crash on Alabama 25 one mile south of Columbiana at about 7:45 a.m. on Sept. 29.

According to law enforcement, 36-year-old Jonathan Green of Tuscumbia and 29-year-old Tiffany Mitchell of Gulf Shores were both killed in a single-vehicle crash when the Chevy pickup they were in left the roadway and struck a utility pole.

As of 5 p.m. on Sept. 29, the wreck was still being investigated by state troopers. There were no other injuries in the crash.
