The Evangel Christian School Lightning closed out its regular season with a win over Freedom Academy, 44-12.

The Lightning needed just 31 offensive plays to net the win, as defense and special teams took over. Luke Smoke had a fumble return for a touchdown, Mason Murphy posted a pick-six, Micah Murphy had a punt return for a score and Brad Baggett returned an onside kick attempt 45 yards for a score in the win.
