The Shelby County Reporter is seeking freelancers to cover sports in the following communities:

• Alabaster
• Calera
• Columbiana
• Chelsea
• Helena
• Montevallo
• North Shelby
• Vincent

Sports correspondents will be asked to submit one story and corresponding photo each week.

Interested applicants must have solid writing skills, access to email and be able to write on deadline. Some driving is required, and applicants should have a reliable source of transportation and car insurance.
