Reed White, Sr., age 92, of Shelby, died Wednesday, Jan. 7.
The graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 10 at Bay Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon-2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 10 at Bay Springs Baptist Church. Bolton Funeral Home is directing.
Mr. White was a WWII veteran in the Army stationed in Philippines. He was a member of Bay Springs Baptist Church in Shelby. He was married to Barbara Sue Fikes White for 55 years. They were married on Nov. 28, 1959. He was one of 14 children.
Mr. White is survived by his wife, Barbara Fikes White; son, Reed White, Jr.; daughters, Ann White Bishop (Bruce) and Barbara Jane White Bailey (Keith); grandchildren, Mandy White Harris (Jamie), Chase Bishop, Bo White, Dalton White, Lily Bailey, and Molly Bailey; great grandchildren, Skye, Macy, Addison and Troy Harris; brother, Joseph White (Jeanette) and numerous additional family and friends.
