Jack Chalkley Awbrey, age 84, of Alabaster, was born Sept. 21, 1930 and died Tuesday, Jan. 20.
He was predeceased by his parents, Henry Pate and Mattie Willie Awbrey.
Jack was a U. S. Air Force Veteran and later graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Industrial Engineering.
His survivors include his wife of 60 years, Mary Frank Lee Awbrey; daughters, Shannon Armstrong (David), Tanya Barnes (Ronald) and Letitia Youngblood (Tommy); sister, Ann Glass; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo.
