ALABASTER -The Alabaster Police Department has re-opened all lanes of Interstate 65 after clearing a pair of wrecks on the interstate.

Traffic was down to one lane on Interstate 65 in Alabaster for about an hour after the Alabaster Police Department reported a pair of crashes in the area.

According to the police department, the wreck happened shortly after 2 p.m. near mile marker 239 on Interstate 65 southbound, and has closed one lane.

The department also reported a second wreck in the same area at about 2:45 p.m., adding to delays on the interstate.
