MT LAUREL—Do you have an adorable dog? Enter your furry friend into the Cutest Canine Photo Contest sponsored by Lucky Dog Grooming and Boutique.

Until March 28, pet owners can submit “any photo your dog looks especially cute in” by sending a Facebook message to Lucky Dog Grooming and Boutique, co-owner Magan Hall explained.

“So many of our clients like to take pictures (of their dogs) and put them on our Facebook,” Hall said, adding she and co-owner Alyssa Hall thought a photo contest would be a fun event to “get people going.”

On March 29, Hall will compile the submitted photos into a Facebook album. The five photos with the most Facebook “likes” will advance to the second round of the contest.

“That’s where the donations are going to come in,” Hall explained.

The top five pictures will be displayed along with a donation jar at the Mt Laurel Spring Festival on April 11. Festival attendants can vote for a dog by placing a donation in the jar. All proceeds generated from the contest will benefit the Shelby Humane Society. The top three dogs with the most donations will win.

The first place winner will receive a $100 Visa gift card, second place will be treated to a free full-service groom from Lucky Dog Grooming and Boutique for any breed of dog and third place will get a premium bath for any breed.
