PELHAM- The city of Pelham will be holding its annual Pelham Palooza this year on Jul 17, and the celebration will feature recreational opportunities and exciting things to do around Pelham.

Paula Holly, the city’s executive administrative assistant said there will be some new features to this year’s event.

“We are a recreational destination, and that is what we wanted to focus on this year was the city’s recreational aspects,” Holly said. “There will also be a full day of live music and bands.”

Holly said plans for the live bands have not yet been solidified.

Along with the live music and evening concert at the Oak Mountain Amphitheater to kick of the event Friday, the event will also feature 103.7 the Q’s “ Just Show Up” concert series. On Saturday, The Pelham Civic Complex will be hosting a variety of vendors that specialize in exercise-related and healthy lifestyles.

“Home Depot will also be doing their Kids Area again,” Holly said.
