MT LAUREL—Join Mt Laurel in welcoming spring with the town’s annual Spring Festival on Saturday, April 11, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This year’s event will be fun for the whole family, with games, rides, activities and shopping for all ages. Kids can enjoy a petting zoo, face painting, hayrides and inflatables. More than 150 vendors will also be on hand, both local and from as far as Jasper and Clanton, selling everything from boutique goods to handmade crafts.
“Every year it seems like we get more vendors asking about (the Spring Festival), we just keep adding on to it,” EBSCO Development Company Marketing and Community Relations Manager Julianna Vance said. “The kids’ activities have grown each year too.”
There will be food trucks, stands featuring produce from local farmers and live music throughout the event.
“It’s just a great afternoon,” Vance said.
Mt Laurel’s Spring Festival is 13-year-long tradition, and along with an October Festival, it is one of two town-wide celebrations, Vance said. The Spring Festival will take place in the center of town.
“You can’t miss it on Saturday,” Vance said with a laugh. “It’s really neat, it’s a very interesting event, very unique to Mt Laurel.”
Mt Laurel’s Spring Festival will take place rain or shine and admission is free. More information is available at Mtlaurel.com/blog/spring-festival-is-back/.
