Broadway comes to the Shelby County Arts Council (SCAC) Black Box Theater on Friday, April 24 at 8 p.m.
It’s a compilation of popular Broadway songs and stories that just might make you laugh or cry, with the same love, angst and longing of a classic Broadway performance.
Lewis Lakes Vineyard will host a complimentary beverage reception included in the ticket price for the production.
Directed by Tawny Stephens, the show also features Tawny Stephens, Leah Luke, Mike Stephens and Stephen Fister, with accompanist Joel Bullock.
Tawny Stephens is an experienced performer and director. Seen recently in the movie “October Baby” and in the Red Mountain Theater production “The Producers,” she brings a theater background and a vibrant presence to the stage.
For those who have longed to see a performance on Broadway, as well as those who have seen many, this talented cast blends contemporary tunes with old classics for an unforgettable evening full of light, laughter and entertainment.
