HELENA–Helena residents will soon have a new option to have their car, truck or SUV looking squeaky clean, as Wash It Off express car wash is set to open in the heart of Helena on Monday, June 15.
The “state of the art” car wash will feature multiple packages, reasonable prices, free vacuum, air and windshield washer fluid, according to owner Jay Modi.
“We have hired kids from the local community and we are expecting it to be a good turnaround,” said Modi. “This is one of the best car washes, and we’ll give the community the best wash we can.”
The car wash will be open Monday through Saturday 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The car wash packages customers can choose from begin with the $6 basic package and go up to a $10 deluxe wash, $15 fire and ice wash and an $18 blazing wash.
The $10 deluxe package also includes tire shine.
Manager Stephanie Malcom has been in the car wash industry for 10 years and said she is excited about the features it will offer and the location of the car wash.
“We are going to be prepping vehicles beforehand, and no one else in town that’s an express wash is doing this,” said Malcom. “We have a straight drive-in and then we have an emergency bail-out area. We have the Mercedes of all car wash equipment, it’s called Motor City and it’s the best in the industry.”
The car wash is located right near the busy intersection of Shelby County 52 and Alabama 261 next to Taco Bell.
The lot will also include 12 free vacuums and 24 air hoses and monthly memberships that will start at $30 for deluxe, $35 for fire and ice and $45 for blazing. Customers can wash their vehicle every day if they choose to do so.
“We want to offer the greatest experience for the customer and the staff,” said Malcom. “We are truly focused on customer service and putting out a pristine vehicle.”
