W.S. Esco Family. Before laws requiring farm animals to be fenced, people erected fences around their homes to keep pigs, cattle and goats from wandering into their yards. The W.S. Esco family was photographed about 1910 in front of their animal proof house located next to the Helena School. This house was later destroyed in the 1933 tornado.
