HELENA–Frankie’s Market Café was a staple in the Helena community for the better part of 13 years and after they closed their doors for good on April 19, many Helena residents wondered what might fill the space.
With the space being vacant for more than three months, new owners have decided to acquire the property and once again make it a restaurant.
The news was confirmed on Tuesday, July 28, as Helena Mayor Mark Hall posted a statement to his Facebook page.
“I am excited to learn that the owners of several popular family restaurants in the Metro area have purchased the former Frankie’s Market location on Shelby 52 in Helena,” the post read. “They intend to open a “Ranch” style family restaurant in that location in the next 90 days!”
Hall also said that the new owners will provide more official information in the coming weeks, but overall he believes it’s a great addition for the city.
“This family style restaurant will be a great addition for our city and will give our residents more choices close to home,” said Hall. “We also expect this restaurant to be a destination for visitors from all over the metro area as well. I am very happy that this vacancy will be filled as we continue to encourage new family oriented businesses to locate here in Helena.”
The restaurant will be located at 4257 Co. Rd 52 in Helena.
