HELENA–It was announced in May that a Jack’s fast food restaurant would be coming to Helena on Shelby County 17 across from Regions Bank and according to officials with Jack’s, the location is planning a target date of late November or December to open it’s doors to customers.

Jack’s restaurants have a loyal fan base and are known for great burgers, fries, breakfast, desserts and a long history of supporting local schools and communities.

“I am very pleased to see a new business coming to our city,” said Helena Mayor Mark Hall when learning that the restaurant was coming to Helena. “Jack’s will be a great boost to revenues for the city, which is much needed. Jack’s is also known to be an avid supporter of local schools and other community efforts and charities.”

Some of the site work for the new restaurant has already been completed and based on how the weather cooperates in the coming months, that will be a key factor in when the restaurant will open.

“I am optimistic that this is the first of several key retail developments that will be coming to areas that are currently zoned for this type development,” said Hall. “It is imperative that we continue to find new businesses so that we can meet the current needs and future needs, for continued funding of vital city services with sales tax revenue from retail development.”
