Everyone who goes into business for himself has to work hard and long hours to succeed, carry a great selection of products, be dependable business minded folks, have a good attitude and a tolerance for whatever comes your way.

Anthony and Leah Troncalli are those kinds of folks.

For the last three years the Troncallis have been in their totally remodeled location on Alabama 119 South near the intersection of Butler Road.

Last week there were pumpkins, statuary of all shapes and sizes, heavy duty rocking chairs, little folks rockers, folding chairs, birdhouses, unusual plant stands, huge mums, burlap door hangers (or wreaths), plus lots of Alabama and Auburn goodies.

My favorites are large signs or door props featuring Alabama or Auburn and tropical scenes great for tiki bars.

These “props” are a Leah creation and built by Anthony.

They are constructed from pallet boards and other “weathered lumber.”

They are then hand painted and designed with all the finishing touches by Leah. Custom designs are available upon request. Halloween signs are cropping up now as fall is in the air.

After 16 years of experience in the lawn care and landscaping business, Anthony knows what products are needed by those in these businesses and he strives to supply all their needs.

Bermuda sod, mulch, gravel, pea gravel, red rock, pine straw, firewood, screened topsoil and soil conditioners are some of the products available from Shelby Landscape Supply.

Troncalli loves the outdoors and especially hunting and fishing.

Leah stays busy with the children Logan, Kyle and Sarah Grace.

The family attends First Baptist Church in Alabaster.

Originally Hueytown residents, the Troncalli family now calls Alabaster home.

Troncalli enjoys sharing DIY projects with customers and dreams of growing his business into a successful “we are here for you place of business.”

A kind and courteous staff is available and waiting to serve you at 8163 Alabama 119 South.

Anthony Troncalli says, “Your satisfaction is our top priority.”
