FROM STAFF REPORTS

PELHAM – A Pelham consignment store owned by a trio of Alabaster school bus drivers is looking to give the public a chance to save while shopping for everything from toys to clothing.

The Pelham-based Ladybug Lane Consignment store will hold its spring community consignment sale from Friday, Sept. 18, through Sunday, Sept. 20, at the Warehouse 31 event center off Lee Street in Pelham.

The sale will be held until 7 p.m. on Sept. 18, from 7 a.m.-4 p.m. on Sept. 19, and from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on Sept. 20. All items will be 50 percent off during the Sept. 20 sale.

Alabaster City Schools bus drivers Katrina Justice, Terry Johnson and Ladybug Lane owner Betsy Olliff have organized two Ladybug Lane consignment sales – one in the spring and one in the fall – for the past few years. In the past, the sales have drawn hundreds of shoppers to the Warehouse 31 building.

The sale will feature men’s and women’s clothes, maternity clothing, children’s shoes, socks, hair bows, hats, belts, backpacks and purses. The sale also will feature toys, games, puzzles, DVDs, children’s furniture and accessories and baby items.

Each year, the event organizers donate some items to a local charity.
