Luther Wayne Bradley
Alabaster

Luther Wayne Bradley, of Alabaster, died peacefully at home with his wife and daughter by his side on Wednesday, Sept. 23. He was born Dec. 7, 1947.
A memorial service to celebrate his life is planned for Friday, Oct. 2 at Siluria Baptist Church in Alabaster at 6:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the American Liver Foundation.
Wayne was a branch circulation manager for the Birmingham News for 24 years. He was an adoring father and always eager to help anyone in need. He lived to provide for his family and never spoke a word of complaint about it. Wayne was a soft-spoken, big-hearted man and a man that loved his children with his entire being. He enjoyed fishing, working in the yard, long drives on country roads and walking hand in hand by the ocean. He was the man that every child in the neighborhood remembers teaching them to swim by throwing quarters into our pool.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Belinda H. Bradley; six daughters, Bethany Faith Bradley, Debra Mobley (William), Donna Fancher (Chris), Patsy Langford (Donny), Victoria Marie Bradley, and Crystal Bulford (Donnie); a grandson whom he adored and loved like a son, Jamison (J.T.) Bradley (Amy); and seven beautiful grandchildren, Dalton, Hannah, Jackson, Courtney, Tyler, Amelia, and Michael.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Luther R. & Hazel Bradley and his first wife, Patricia Christine Bradley.
