Peter Lee Ladewig, age 63, of Montevallo, passed away Friday, Sept. 25 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was a master builder, adored his grandchildren, and enjoyed spending time at his farm.

He is survived by his loving parents, Roland and Betty Ladewig; two daughters, Jacqueline Richardson (Philip) and Rebecca Oden (Paul); five grandchildren, Sam, Zac, Anna Kate, Mary Catherine, and Luke; three brothers, David, James, and Mark Ladewig; and two sisters, Claudia Hodges (Bart) and Rebecca Ladewig.

Peter’s gathering for family and friends will be Wednesday, Sept. 30 from 6-8 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo).
