Edward Richard Ruemmler, age 59, of Montevallo, passed away Friday, Oct. 23 at his home.

Edward was born March 3, 1956 in Plainfield, N.J. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cliff Sr. and Carrie Ruemmler, and brother, James Ruemmler.

His surviving relatives include his loving wife, Betty Ruemmler; stepsons, Micheal and Joseph Steaphens, all of Montevallo; brother, Cliff Ruemmler (Sally) of Kansas City, Mo.; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews; and a great friend, David “Bear” Gallett of Jemison.

A memorial service will be held Friday, Oct. 30 in the Rockco (Montevallo) Chapel at 7 p.m.
