HELENA–Helena High School and the Helena Business Association are teaming up to help Helena High School seniors gain valuable knowledge and experience when it comes to interviewing for a career in the future.
Senior interview day is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 13 from 8:30 a.m. to noon and the HBA and HHS are seeking volunteers to help with the event.
The school needs business people who understand the interview process and can give constructive criticism to seniors, all while encouraging them and helping them improve their interview skills, according to a newsletter from the HBA.
Those wishing to volunteer are reminded that this is more of a learning experience and an uplifting activity for the seniors.
In the past, senior interview day has been a positive experience for both students and the interviewers.
Anyone interesting in volunteering should contact Helena High School Counselor Kim Bailey at 682-3650 or at Kbailey@shelbyed.k12.al.us no later than Oct. 31.
