Kevin Van Dam, 51, of Sterrett, passed away Friday, Oct 16.

Kevin leaves behind his father and mother, Gerhart and Evelyn Van Dam of Minnesota, and one brother and three sisters along with their spouses. He also leaves behind eight nephews, a niece, and many aunts, uncles and friends.

Kevin was a realtor in the Birmingham area for the last twenty years, but he often returned home to help family and friends with their farm work and building projects. Kevin also loved his nephews and his niece, and continued to share in their lives and activities. He was also devoted to his faith, enjoyed studying the Bible, and was an active member of The Church at Brook Hills.

Visitation is with family on Thursday, Oct. 29 from 6-7 p.m., with a memorial service at 7 p.m., at The Church at Brook Hills.
