Around 12:06 p.m. on Nov. 2, a man entered the bank at 835 Main St. and demanded money, Montevallo Police Chief Jeremy Littleton said.

“He said he had a gun, but he did not show one,” Littleton said.

The robber allegedly exited through the rear of the bank on foot. He was gone by the time the police arrived at the scene, Littleton said. No one was injured in the robbery.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 20s or 30s with long hair, wearing a dark colored hoodie and blue jeans.

The Montevallo Police Department is investigating the robbery. The FBI is also involved in the investigation, FBI Public Affairs Specialist Paul Daymond said.

“We’ve got some leads we’re following up on,” Littleton said.

Anyone with information about the Trustmark Bank robbery is urged to call the Montevallo Police Department at 665-1265, or the anonymous crime tip line at 626-7950.
