Leathie Elizabeth Holsomback, age 80, of Marvel, passed away Friday, Nov. 27.

Elizabeth was a member of Marvel Baptist Church and she worked in the cafeteria as a cook for West Blocton Elementary School for over 30 years. She was an outdoor person and she enjoyed life.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Alfred Ray Holsomback, and her granddaughter, Ali Holsomback.

She is survived by her children, Butch Holsomback (Sue), Gail Boothe (J.R.), Mike Holsomback, and Greg Holsomback; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and brother, M. E. Martin.

Her visitation will be held Tuesday, Dec. 1 from 6-8 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo). Her funeral service will be Wednesday, Dec. 2 at 11 a.m. at Rockco with burial to follow at Macedonia Cemetery in Pea Ridge. Bro. Stan Dawson and Bro. Greg Sellers will officiate.
