Pair of morning wrecks cause delays on I-65

ALABASTER – The Alabaster police and fire departments are warning of heavy traffic delays on Interstate 65 southbound, and are urging motorists to use caution while navigating the area.
Two wrecks happened within a short time of each other at about 10 a.m. on Nov. 30.
The first wreck happened on I-65 southbound near the 235 mile marker and blocked the left lane.
The second wreck happened near the 236 mile marker and blocked both travel lanes, causing significant traffic delays, according to the Alabaster Police Department.
As of 11 a.m., emergency responders had re-opened the interstate, but were still warning of significant traffic delays.
