Doug Snipes went to be with his Heavenly Father Sunday, Nov. 29.

He remained true and faithful to his Lord and Master throughout his battle with cancer. While he did not want to leave his family and friends, his eyes were always heavenward. Doug is now “walking on with Jesus and holding to his hand” which was his theme song for his radio ministry of 20 years. He touched many lives with his ministry and his love. He will be greatly missed.

A visitation will be held from noon – 2 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 3 with a funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. both at Charter Funeral Home. The interment will be in Salem Cemetery, Calera. Charter Funeral Home directing.
