ALABASTER – With uncertainties in the Alabaster Fire Department’s number of possible emergency calls on Christmas Eve, the city is looking to publish a more up-to-the-minute Santa Stop schedule this year than it has in the past.

As in past years, the Fire Department will escort Santa Claus throughout Alabaster on Dec. 24 to visit every neighborhood in the city. While touring the city, Santa will make stops at several “Santa Stops,” which will be marked with yellow signs during the week of Dec. 14.

The tour will begin at 1 p.m. on Christmas Eve, and the Fire Department will provide regular updates on Santa’s anticipated arrival time to each stop on Alabastersantastops.com and on Alabaster City Hall’s Facebook page and Twitter account throughout the day on Dec. 24.
