James “Bud” Alexander, of Wilton, passed away Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015 at the age of 76.

“Bud” retired from Kimberly Clark after 33 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. & Mrs. George Alexander.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Bonnie Mims Alexander; sisters, Barbara Williams and Carol Underwood; brother-in-law, Troy Mims (Nan); sister-in-law, Robbie Conway (Glenn); his beloved father-in-law, Morris “Pop” Mims; daughters, Angela Adams (Eugene) and Pamela Wilson (David); grandsons, Nathan, Ethan, Austin and Owen Wilson; and granddaughters, Caton Wilson and Allie Crockett. Many nieces and nephews were proud to call him “Uncle Bud.”

He was a member of Wilton Bible Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for over 30 years. Bud enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and Alabama football.

Visitation will be held at Rockco Funeral Home in Montevallo Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. His funeral will be Monday, Jan. 4 at 10 a.m. at Wilton Bible Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Montevallo Cemetery.
