She earned a business school certificate and began a 40+ year career as a bookkeeper working for Rosenberger’s-Birmingham Trunk, Village of Cook Springs and ended her career at Riteway/United Bolt Machine Shop. After retirement, she enjoyed volunteering for the Christian Love Pantry in Pell City.
She was a devoted, loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved Jesus, fried green tomatoes and John Wayne. She was crowned Mrs. Columbiana Health and Rehab in 2012, where she wore her crown proudly. She met everyone who walked through the doors at CH&R with a smile. Often she would be found roaming the halls and singing the great Ole hymns. Her joy of life and easy going spirit will be greatly missed.
We would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Columbiana Health and Rehab for the many years of loving care given to our mother.
