HELENA–After months of construction, the Marathon service station located off Shelby County 52 across the street from Cahaba Lily Park is now open.
The Marathon service station includes a Husky Food Mart, four two-sided gasoline pumps with the end pumps carrying diesel fuel and a Sneaky Pete’s and Crazy Caiman’s Cajun Chicken that will be opening in the food mart soon.
The service station has been open for approximately two weeks now and owner Noor Dharani said things have gone smoothly so far.
“Things have gone well,” said Dharani. “I like this area a lot and I feel like this is a great location off a main roadway. We are hoping next week to have Sneaky Pete’s and Crazy Caiman’s open as well.”
The finishing touches are being completed on the Sneaky Pete’s and the Crazy Caiman’s Cajun Chicken inside the food mart, which will make the service station attractive to residents and commuters as well.
The service station also includes a variety of sodas, coffee, beer, wine, snacks and more.
The current hours of operation for the Helena Marathon station are Monday-Friday from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
There are approximately 5,300 Marathon-branded locations in 19 states in the Midwest and Southeast, according to Marathon’s website.
The gas station is located at 490 Riverwoods Court in Helena.
